aftercare

First 7-10 days:

Keep pores SMALL. No working out or sweating. When showering, do not submerge face underwater. No vigorous activities.

AVOID FOR THE FIRST MONTH:

  • Saunas
  • Pools and beaches
  • Sun exposure/ tanning
  • Anti-aging and anti-acne products and treatments on your forehead

DAY 1, CLEANING YOUR BROWS:

  1. 30- 60 minutes after the treatment or when you get home, clean the eyebrows with warm water and/or neutral or gentle soap. (This will remove all the plasma and previously applied the cream.) Can use a cotton pad/ball to wipe.
  2. Pat dry with a clean tissue.
  3. Then APPLY a thin layer of AfterInked Cream (will be provided) with a q-tip.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 at least three to five times today.
  5. Blot between cleanings if secretion is noticeable.

DAY 2-3,  DON’T BE SCARED:

  • The color will darken from oxidation and turn slightly orange tone.
  • Repeat cleaning and reapplying AfterInked Cream every morning and night for 5 days.
  • If a slight flake appears on the pigmented surface, do not forcibly remove by picking or scratching! (Doing so will remove pigment along with flaking.) Brows are not considered healed until all flakes have shed.

DAY 4-10, DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH:

  • Scabbing and itching will occur, do not pick or scratch. Allow it to flake off on its own.
  • Color may begin to lighten 20% - 60% and can soften and/or become patchy. You are able to wear makeup until the touch up to even them out if need be.

DAY 10 ONWARD, PROTECT YOUR BROWS:

  • If you plan to be exposed to the sun, wear sunscreen, hats that cover your brows, and large sunglasses.
  • Resume to washing face as normal; however, use a very mild face wash, ie. Cetaphil.
